Let’s Declutter: Your Underwear Drawer Makeover Starts Now!
Share
Today, we’re treating ourselves to a little drawer therapy! We’re focusing on one space that often gets overlooked—your underwear drawer. It’s time to let go of the worn, the uncomfortable, and the “why do I still have this?” pieces and make room for what feels good.
Step 1: Empty, Clean, and Sort
Set aside 15 to 30 minutes—this is your time, so make it enjoyable!
1. Take Everything Out: Lay it all out. Socks, shapewear, bras, and undies—you want a clear view of what you’re working with.
2. Wipe It Down: Give your drawer a quick clean—dust bunnies be gone!
3. Sort It Out:
- Keep: Your go-to pieces that fit well and make you feel fabulous.
- Let Go: Anything stretched out, faded, or uncomfortable—it’s time to say goodbye.
- Not Sure Yet? These pieces go in your “outbox” (more on that next).
Step 2: Meet Your Outbox
An outbox is a simple place for the “maybes”—the things you’re unsure about but aren’t ready to toss. It can be a cute storage bin, a reusable bag, or even a box you already have on hand.
- Find a Spot: Keep it somewhere handy but out of the way—like the bottom of your closet or a shelf. After a few weeks, if you don’t miss those items, you’ll know it’s time to let them go.
Tip: Add a little ritual to the process—light a candle or pour a cup of tea. Make it feel like a moment just for you.
By the end of this mini-makeover, your underwear drawer will feel lighter, more organized, and filled with pieces that you’re actually excited to reach for.
Tip X2: Why stop there? Share your progress with a friend and invite them to refresh their drawer too—it’s always more fun to do these things together.
Here’s to feeling refreshed and recharged!
